I've always loved all things pertaining to fashion and style. These are my takes on looks or moments I admire including red carpet, pop culture, fashion shows and designer collections.

live sketch on iPad Pro in Procreate of my black and ivory Kate Spade work bag

Kate Spade Bag
I was devastated to learn of Kate Spade's passing as I've always loved her colourful and cheery designs. Her bags have been described as a milestone for young working women, often being the first designer bag bought with their hard earned money. I remember feeling proud when I got this black and ivory bag in 2014. It's been my work bag ever since thanks to its classic and modern style. I also remember when her brand first arrived in Canada, how exciting it was (and still is) to discover new and unique pieces at her stores - there's always something I love!

ornate black and gold digital painting inspired by Dolce & Gabbana's 2012 fall winter womenswear collection

2012 holiday postcard inspired by Dolce & Gabbana's 2012 fall winter womenswear collection. The ornate opulence of the collection led me to focus on the key textures and elements - brocade, black, gold, lace - in a dramatic interpretation.

digital painting based on Dolce & Gabbana's 2012 spring summer womenswear collection

Dolce & Gabbana SS12
I was invited to create an illustration based on Dolce & Gabbana's 2012 spring summer womenswear collection. I turned three looks into food-related scenarios. The models are in unison leggy poses while enjoying Italian food that echoes each respective outfit. L-R: a gelato topped with sprinkles paired with the jewel-encrusted dress, a tomato and cheese panini for the tomato-print two piece, and an Italian soda, matching onions and flowers as groceries to go with the onions and flowers print outfit.
